Apple Picking where we picked apples for real this time.
Today Annie Kate did not have school and Jeff was not scheduled at work so we headed out to Homestead Farm our favorite place. We went a few weeks ago to pick apples but came home with pumpkins instead.
This time we were focused on getting the apples. We picked cameo's. I can't say too many times so that I don't forget how much I love being out there with my family. It is so relaxing and wonderful. They have all their Halloween decorations up and the air is crisp.
We ran into one of the boys that Annie Kate plays with down the street and so she stayed with them and rode the trailer to the pumpkin patch and came home later, which was so fun for her.
The girls fed the goats and the chickens. Caroline and Sally Jane had their signature popsicle underneath the same tree that they do everytime. We have such a routine out there.
It was a great day and now we are off to make apple crisp for our Haunted House Family Home Evening.

I Love that you took a picture of Sally Jane in a patch of pumpkins. In my family growing up it was always a tradition to take pictures of babies with pumpkins in the fall. I even got one of Liam when he was about 5 months on a trip to Canada during Canadian Thanskgiving.
