Commissary shopping - Fort Myer

The base is so beautiful. Old brick everywhere! It is on the edge of Arlington Cemetary.
We had two big carts full of food. I was excited to see the German chocolate advent calendars to get for our home/visiting teaching families. They are only $1.49 each. My friend Debi W. would bring those to my kids every year. They had all of their German Christmas items. So fun to see everything.

Sally Jane was so tired and such a mess. We were giving her anything to keep her happy, suckers, oreo's, chocolate mints. She was covered in sticky!

This was Caroline saying she was ready to go home. They were all so tired.

Annie Kate was laughing at how long the receipt was! I wish I would have taken a photo of the back of our van crammed with bags.

We were driving home around 6:30 on a Friday night and we were surprised the Traffic fairy was on our side. I thought this photo of Caroline was funny. Her watching the movie "Over the Hedge" (which I was happy to send back to Netflix, I was so disappointed in this movie, to many shut up's and stupids, adults screaming at each other for my taste)

We arrived safely home from out 9 hour Friday in the city, at 7:01 pm.
I still feel so lucky every time we get to spend the whole day as a family.

That's a seriously long receipt. It's so cool that you guys have access to the commissary and get so many great deals.
Caroline and Sally Jane looks so cute in their matching outfits, and I just love Sally Jane's hair.
Liam sometimes says Stupid, so we have to put him in time out. I wish cartoons wouldn't use that word.
kristi what are those outfits that Caroline and Sally Jane are wearing? They are SO CUTE!!! I love the twill skirt and that cardigan is darling. Where are they from...and is there any left?
I love the long receipt. I love to shop, even at the grocery store.
Your girls are darling!
I agree with you on Over the Hedge - we will not be adding that one to our library...
