National Museum of the Native American
The other night Jeff and I were watching Rachel Ray on the Food Network. She travels cities and tells you great places to eat. We happened to catch the show about D.C. (the first time we have ever seen the show, lucky us)
She talked about some great places to eat and one of them was the cafe at the National Museum of the Native American.
We decided to go today. Oh are we so glad that we did. If you ever come to D.C. don't miss eating here. It was incredible.

Here is a photo of Jeff's plate. A white bean turkey tamale, roasted sweet potatoes, wild rice salad and chicken mole. The food was amazing.

Caroline stealing a sip of my diet coke. (which my brothers would be happy to know I have stopped buying to keep in my home, but when I am out it is a total treat)
The museum was amazing! We can't wait to go back.

Ok, I hope I never conveyed any notion that I thought you should discontinue warehousing Diet Coke on the premises. I defend your right to keep the juice in the home. I mean, it is like $2 for 12 at Target sometimes. And if you are out at a restaraunt and you want it, you will have to pay $2 for a drink, and there is no guaruntee on the free refills.
Eric just called from the National Mall saying that he had no idea where to eat...I remembered that you had posted about somewhere yummy so I looked it up and he is on his way there. Thanks for the tip!
